The “DOON Team” was a Training & Inspection Team for nuclear strike crews in NATO.  
It stood for “DO”, the Director of Operations for USAFE; 
“O” for Operations (versus Plans, Intel, etc); 
then “N” for Nuclear.  
Our offices were near Ramstein AB, GE at Kapaun Air Station in Kaiserslautern.
We went on plenty of “Tac Evals” for many countries and not just -104 bases, 
and it was serious business, but great fun also.
